Kaleidoscope Collision – “Bon Voyage”
Kaleidoscope Collision is a duo from Malaga, made up of Heather and Jovani, and their single “Bon Voyage” gives a solid introduction to what they do. I went in not knowing much and ended up replaying it more than I expected.
The first thing that stood out to me was how relaxed it all feels. The piano has this playful energy, and the guitar parts slide in so smoothly that you barely notice them at first. It doesn’t sound overworked. It sounds like they let things happen and kept the parts that felt right, which makes a big difference. I also kept thinking about how personal the idea behind the song is. You can tell it came from something they experienced together, because you feel that they just share a mood, and that actually works better.
It’s the kind of song I’d put on during a chill hangout or when you just want something easy in the background that still keeps your attention. Not every track needs to be intense to stick with you, and this one proves that.
If you’re curious, give it a listen and follow Kaleidoscope Collision on social media so you don’t miss whatever they put out next this year.
