WiLL – “IG Love”

Today, I listened to “IG Love” by WiLL. It is a unique and refreshing track and I’m glad it landed on my radar this week. Coming out of the Washington, D.C. scene, WiLL brings a rare level of honesty to his music. The single dives straight into the messy reality of modern relationships, specifically looking at how people mistake Instagram likes and social media validation for actual, genuine care.

He grounds this modern dilemma in an authentic, same-gender loving perspective. The track mixes soulful vocals with contemporary R&B and Pop production that hits exactly where it should and the songwriting handles the tension between our digital habits and our actual emotional needs without sounding preachy. It is a smooth, engaging listen that tells a real story about the modern search for connection, balancing heartbreak and self-discovery. To be honest, it’s one of the most incredible release I’ve discovered in the past couple of days.
