Hey guys! I must say that I am enjoying TATE SEDAR’s newest work, “Coming Home (I.M.U)”. As soon as the festival-like energy kicked in, I could feel the homesickness in every single beat. The track combines his background in progressive house with his more recent ‘post-EDM’ style, incorporating electroacoustic elements and a vocal sample that reminds you of the good old days. It’s like a love letter to his San Francisco origins, set to a soundscape that is both futuristic and nostalgic. What I like most is that he manages to tell this very intimate story and still create a song that is anthemic and empowering.
