Ben Rankin – “Save Your Tears”

Ben Rankin from Canberra, Australia released his new single “Save Your Tears” on December 5th, and it’s a solid listen. He takes influence from bands like Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, and Architects, going for those big, heavy choruses that get stuck in your head. The song is about dealing with people who try to control how you think or feel about your own life. Ben got tired of being told he was overthinking or that he should see things differently, so he wrote this as a way to say he’s done letting other people dictate his perspective.

Ben recorded everything in his home studio, which is where he works on all his music. No outside producers or fancy setups, just him doing his thing in a space where he’s comfortable. It gives the track a certain directness that works in its favor. This is the lead single from his fifth studio album “In Memoriam”, coming out February 27, 2026. He’s been putting out records for a while now, so this isn’t someone new to the game.

Trust me, Ben Rankin is worth checking out. Follow him on social media to see what else he puts out as 2025 winds down.
