BeeJar – “Playing to the Gallery”
Beejar is a four-piece alt-rock band from London. The group features Ellen Cronin on vocals, guitar, and keys, Dave Mannion on guitar, Ammaar Wahab on drums, and Rob Parker on bass. Their single “Playing to the Gallery” follows their debut EP which was produced by Andy Zanini.
Over the last three years, the band has built a strong live presence in the capital. They regularly play to crowds of over one hundred people at famous venues like the O2 Academy Islington and Camden Assembly. They have also sold out shows at places like The Stag’s Head and The Star in Shoreditch. Outside of their shows, they partnered with War Child for an online gig and raised fourteen hundred pounds, landing them among the top twenty fundraising acts in the UK.
“Playing to the Gallery” grabs attention right away with heavy guitar riffs. Ellen sings with lots of energy, mixing a warm tone with a sharp vocal style. Dave plays loud riffs on his guitar that give the song power. The track has already pulled in over six thousand streams in its first three weeks along with strong Spotify support.
