William Carlos Whitten – “Heaven Is a Face”

I’m in love with William Carlos Whitten’s latest single “Heaven Is a Face”. When you start listening to the track, you are immediately greeted with Diana’s distinctive vocals. Diana Crash’s contribution adds an ethereal quality that perfectly complements William’s more grounded approach – a musical partnership born in a laundromat of all places.

The track has this eerie feel to it that stays with you even after the song is over and you will find listening to it over and over again and each time you listen to it, you will discover something new in the simple yet effective instrumental. The manner in which they manage to incorporate elements of sadness with elements of warmth is simply brilliant.

This second single from their “Telepaths” album showcases everything that makes William our artist of the month, and I really can’t recommend strongly enough that you follow William Carlos Whitten on all social media platforms right now because this release deserves to be shared with everyone you know who has even a passing interest in authentic, brilliantly crafted music that defies easy categorization.
