Art Pop – “teenage scum”

Art Pop’s “teenage scum” is wonderful and there’s a scrappy charm to the way Max and Miles Grossenbacher pull this off, balancing indie grit with an undercurrent of restlessness that never slips into whining. You can tell this thing came together between classes, late nights, and long distance file swaps, and somehow that makes it land harder.

It’s got that feeling of being stuck in your head while everything around you keeps moving, fast and careless. But instead of dragging you into self pity, it flips the mood into something sharper, frustrated, yeah, but more alive for it. And what I like the most is the stunning and powerful vocals.

Follow Art Pop on social media to stay up to date with everything they’ve got cooking for the rest of 2025, you’re gonna want to keep an eye on where this thing goes.
