Efan Electro – “Feel the beat (Old Skool)”

“Feel the Beat (Old Skool)” by the talented Efan Electro is my favorite track of the week, it taps into that classic late 80s house vibe in a way that feels unique and you can tell it comes from someone who actually loves and respect that era. The grooves are warm and inviting, you can feel that the whole track has this uplifting energy that makes it easy to picture on a packed dancefloor.

What I really love is how natural the piece sounds. The spoken-word style adds a nice touch, giving it that old-school club feel and the track will stick in your head all day. It brings a bit of personality and helps the track feel alive. At the same time, it doesn’t feel stuck in the past. There’s a modern edge that keeps it fresh and easy to drop into current sets.

Knowing this was put together entirely by Efan himself makes it even more impressive. It doesn’t sound like a beginner project at all and there’s a clear sense of direction and confidence behind it, like he already understands what works when people just want to move and enjoy the moment. That connection to the dancefloor really comes through.

Make sure to check out his earlier releases on Spotify, like “Stronger” and follow him to keep up with what’s coming in the rest of this year. What do you think, does this kind of old-school sound still hit for you?
