MikroBrute – “Kneel”

MikroBrute from Sligo, Ireland, just put out a new single titled “Kneel” and I’ve been listening to it. The track started as an indie-style song but turned into melodic metal along the way, and that shift actually works really well.

The recording was made at MikroBrute’s house on a mini PC, and it is really impressive. MikroBrute watched family members go against serious illnesses and conditions that changed their lives. The song is about how they found strength inside themselves to get by. It’s about believing in yourself and not just waiting for medicine or religion to fix everything.
