Eoin Shannon – “Highs & Lows”

Eoin Shannon, a talented artist from Cork, Ireland, has released his new album “Highs & Lows”, and I just love it, and it’s safe to say it’s one of the best releases I’ve heard this week. It’s an original collection that shows the range of his style, mixing soul, blues, and a spiritual edge. The record feels personal, but it’s also full of collaboration. Tom Savage plays a big role as producer and musician across most of the tracks, and other talented contributors like Malte Hortsmann, Artem Litovchenko, and Gaby Duboisjoli add their own touch to certain songs.
I love how the album brings together influences from legends like Bobby Blue Bland and Frank Sinatra while still sounding like Eoin’s own journey. The track “The Closer You’re To God” is clearly close to his heart, blending his vocals with Tom Savage’s input in a way that gives the song real power. Pieces like “Happiness Has Come to Town” can stick in your head for a week.
This is an album built with care and strong creative energy, and it’s worth sitting down with from start to finish. If you want to keep up with Eoin Shannon and hear what else he has planned for the rest of 2025, make sure to follow him on social media so you don’t miss the next release.
