Hope you’re having a nice Saturday night! Varshana’s single “Mystic Ringing” is the kind of release that wins me over because it stays focused and lets its mood settle in naturally. Right away, I was into how it brings together a mid-tempo roots reggae sound with soulful blues touches. That mix gives the song a warm and easy character that made me want to sit with it a little longer.

The harmonica and horn accents add a lot of charm, and the vocals help give everything a smooth and welcoming tone. Nothing sounds overdone, and that is a big part of why I enjoyed it.
