The Cockney Cowboy – “Us Against The World”
The Cockney Cowboy just released “Us Against The World”, and I really dug this one. Justin’s from Romford, England, which is pretty cool considering he’s making country music. He grew up in Walthamstow in London’s East End and fell in love with country after listening to Garth Brooks.
Dave Wright handled the recording and production on this track. The steel guitar work adds a nice touch and gives it that genuine country sound. Justin’s voice fits this style well, you can pick up on some Garth Brooks and Luke Combs influence, but he’s got his own approach going on.
The song’s got real emotion behind it without going overboard. When The Cockney Cowboy Band performs together, they bring good energy to it. This ballad has depth and doesn’t feel empty. You should also check out his first single “City Boy Singing Country Songs” that came out in October if you missed it. He’s been gigging around Essex, Kent, and London, and people are taking notice. Go follow The Cockney Cowboy on social media to keep up with his new releases.
