Stevie Lee Woods – “Don’t Let Heartache Turn to Heartbreak”
Stevie Lee Woods is kicking off the year with a new single, “Don’t Let Heartache Turn to Heartbreak”. He’s teamed up with his Nashville Roadhouse Live Band, including Devin Callahan from American Idol and Rich Watson, for a track that looks at a couple hitting a rough patch and trying to find their way back. It’s personal, it’s direct, and it’s something a lot of people will probably connect with.
The team behind it is no joke. Stuart Epps and Chris Omartian helped produce and engineer the song, and Brian Kelleher was one of the writers. You can tell everyone involved had a hand in shaping it. The single also gives a first look at Stevie’s upcoming album, which is supposed to cover a lot of ground, from Contemporary Country to Country Gospel to Country Rock.
It was recorded at Mansion Studios in Branson, which has hosted a long list of huge artists. So while this song is about a relationship, there’s also a bigger story here: years of experience, collaboration, and a full record on the way.
If you like country with real storytelling behind it, give this one a spin. And follow Stevie Lee Woods on social media to keep up with what’s coming next.
