Sheykh Forever – “Fire in the Master’s House”

When you press play on “Fire in the Master’s House”, you hear music that grabs attention right away. The artist produced, mixed, and mastered every single track at home over four long years. That dedication shines bright in every note. Released via Forever Records, this fourteen track collection brings together disco, heavy rock, hypnagogic pop, and funk into a bold set of anthems. It is a politically charged project that turns real world pain into undeniable dancefloor rhythms. You find powerful reflections on war, propaganda, displacement, and survivor guilt. The songs also capture how heartbreak passes down to later generations.

The music moves smoothly between paranoid funk and warped radio pop while keeping its restless energy completely intact. Two specific songs stand out above the rest as absolute favorites, and the first is “Ghosts!”, which drives forward with intense electronic grooves and sharp textures that demand your full attention. The second favorite is “Sleeping dogs”, a brilliant track that highlights the artist’s unique talent for rhythmic experimentation and clever pop songwriting. Both songs capture the adventurous spirit found across the entire record, blending vintage hardware gear with modern digital tools in a wonderful way. Every single rhythm hits with real power.

Every single song on this album has a distinct pulse and a fearless attitude. It balances catchy melodies with raw, abrasive edges, creating a listening experience that stays with you long after the final track finishes playing. You can tell a huge amount of care went into crafting every single second of audio. The storytelling comes across as deeply cinematic. You hear anger turned into pure art. Each melody grabs your mind and refuses to let go until the very end.
