Shapes Like People – “Find Me There”

Shapes Like People have released their third single ahead of their upcoming album Under the Rainbow, and it’s a nice shift from the earlier tracks. It’s one of the best releases I’ve heard in the last couple of weeks.

The guitars stay light and steady while the vocals glide on top, and by the end, the layered harmonies start to fill the space in a really natural way and it’s the kind of track that just pulls you in slowly. You can tell this one was made with intention. Carl handled all the recording and mixing himself, and it comes across as something built from a close creative process. Kat’s vocals stand out too, especially toward the end when everything starts to overlap and it’s easy to see why this one became special to them. It has a quiet impact that sticks.

If you’re into dreamy, reflective songs that let you drift for a few minutes, give this one a listen. And to stay in the loop on more releases as the album gets closer, make sure to follow Shapes Like People on Bandcamp or Bluesky.
