kryosyn – “Fading Away”
Today, I’m excited to share this one with you. “Fading Away” by kryosyn is a slow, melancholic track about watching a relationship quietly fall apart. From the vocals to the production, everything deserves your attention in the song.
The vocals are rich and easy to follow, and the chorus hits harder because of it. You’ve had a minute to settle into the intimacy of the verses, so when the song opens up, it lands. To be honest, it’s one of the best releases I’ve covered in the past couple of days. The song is about lingering memories and the slow act of letting go when you’re not quite ready to, and the production backs that up without overplaying it, and the melancholy is baked in from the start, and it stays consistent all the way through.
Honestly, this is a strong release from an artist who already knows what kind of music they want to make. Not many new artists show that kind of direction this early. If you want more of that atmosphere, go back and listen to “Night Drift” first, it adds useful context for where this sound comes from.
Follow kryosyn now so you don’t miss what’s coming next. More releases are planned for this year and this is an artist worth keeping tabs on.
