Jeremy Ryan – “SMILE & WAVE”

Jeremy Ryan’s “SMILE & WAVE” is my new favorite track of the week. Coming out of Cohutta, GA, Jeremy takes what started as a mellow acoustic idea and pushes it full throttle into rock territory without losing an ounce of sincerity. You can tell this track came from a place of frustration and self-reflection.

The evolution from its acoustic roots to a full-on rock track wasn’t just a style shift, it feels like the result of a mindset overhaul. It’s loud, confident, and unapologetic, and knowing that Jeremy wrote the lyrics, played nearly all the instruments, and mixed and mastered it himself at his own studio? That’s just impressive.
