ERICKOSCAR – “It Sucks Getting Old”

Erick Oscar is a Panamá-born singer-songwriter based in the United States who has been playing acoustic guitar and writing songs for more than thirty years. He draws from country, pop, and traditional Latin styles, always focusing on writing lyrics that say something real.

“It Sucks Getting Old” comes from his album “Two Flags, One Heart”, a country and Americana project that reflects his Panamanian roots alongside his home in the United States. The song takes a plainspoken, honest look at growing older without taking itself too seriously. Erick relies on his acoustic guitar to lead the way, creating an authentic feel that matches his simple storytelling style. It is the kind of track that makes you nod along because the subject matter is so easy to relate to for anyone. You need to check out the full album.

The track feels real, down to earth, and completely unforced. Anyone who appreciates straightforward, honest songwriting with genuine life experience behind it will find a lot to like here.
