Then there is the narrator, who claims the title of family slacker and tells their dad not to get his hopes up. Everyone is counting faded money and feeling like they are close to hell, constantly being slagged, bagged, and nagged. Rather than sounding dark, the song frames all this adversity with clever humor and upbeat melodies.

Rune Nyby delivers vocals full of character, backed by Per Øyvind Mathisen on electric guitar, Alexander Adrian on bass, and Eivind Kløverød on drums. Lars Rune Rebbestad adds lovely steel guitar lines that complete the classic country rock sound. The arrangements are energetic and tight, giving the song a lively rhythm that gets stuck in your head right away.
