Cries of Redemption – “Patterns”
Cries of Redemption’s Patterns is an album that needs your attention from the first track to the last one. You can tell this was not thrown together quickly. Even with songs connected to different years and stages, the album still comes across as thoughtful and personal, which made it easier for me to get into.
One part that really stuck with me was Chiara A’s role on the record. Knowing she came into this project without a Hard Rock or NuMetal background makes her appearance on “Impulse” even more interesting. There is something very real about that setup, especially when you think about the contrast described around her performance. It gives the album a side that feels uncommon in a good way.
I was also drawn to the bigger idea behind Patterns. The focus on loneliness and the way vulnerable people look for connection in AI gives the record something serious to hold onto. That angle made the album seem more grounded to me, because it is dealing with something a lot of people can recognize right now.
