Asylum 213 – “Prolonged Exposure to Delusion”

I recently listened to “Prolonged Exposure to Delusion” by Asylum 213, and I just love it. The song was released just a couple of weeks ago. It’s got a cool mix of mathcore, shoegaze, noise, and alternative rock. It was recorded at Mountainsize Audio in Asheville, NC, and James Ferrell helped with the production. The production is clean, and professional and makes you feel the lyrics.

What I love about the indie band from Richmond, is how they explore the journey of recovery and self-discovery through their music. Each instrument and vocal line fits well, making a nice balance between loud moments and softer ones. To be honest, they know how to make music that grabs your full attention for the first second to the last one.

“Prolonged Exposure to Delusion” is a great track that I’ve quickly come to love and appreciate the effort they put into making it. If you like music that’s heartfelt and simple but still deep, you should check it out. And make sure to follow Asylum 213 on social media for more updates about their music.
