Jake Vera – “Mine”

I recently listened to Jake Vera’s new song “Mine” and I must say that it is quite unique. This song was released on February 14th, 2025, and it is a love song dedicated to his soon-to-be wife, you can tell that he put his heart into this song. The fact that he recorded it in his own bedroom makes it even more personal and close to the heart, which makes the listening even more emotional.

What I like about “Mine” is that it is very real and can be messy at times when it comes to being in love. It is real and people can easily relate to it and it is clear that it is from his own experience. The lack of complex instrumentals allows the focus to be on his voice and lyrics, which is something that is missing in today’s music.

If you haven’t listened to “Mine” yet, I suggest you do so because it is a great song. It is a standout track that not only displays Jake Vera’s potential but also serves as a preview of his upcoming EP in March.
