Wotts – “sinking”

Wotts’ latest track “sinking” is absolutely incredible and easy to follow, it’s a sonic journey that just doesn’t quit. This Canadian indie pop duo is still dazzling and surprising as they close out the year, “sinking” weaves together a glorious tapestry of twangy vibes with a maximalist sound that would make The Killers’ Sam’s Town era nod in approval. Wotts’ fearless exploration into new sonic territories is on display in the track, which is an adventurous blend of orchestral violins, layers upon layers of guitars, and booming drums. The song has a charming unpredictability to it, starting with simple acoustic strumming and building into a full-blown auditory feast. Wotts are clearly making their tracks without a set plan, and each piece is thrillingly fresh.

If you’re as captivated by their sound as I am, don’t hesitate to dive into their world online. Check them out on Instagram, hit up their Spotify, and maybe drop a like or follow, you won’t regret it.
