Rami – “Save Myself”

RAMI opens a fresh chapter with “Save Myself”, a single that puts her fairytale pop sound front and center. Recorded at Nashville’s Blackbird Studio with two-time GRAMMY winner Edoardo Ghigo, the track brings a personal honesty that hits you right away.

The writing style really grabbed my attention. Written by GRAMMY-winning writer and producer Jackie’s Boy together with Quiet Girl, the song gives RAMI plenty of space to show off her voice. The track uses the picture of being stuck alone in a high tower as a sign of isolation, turning that lonely feeling into a big moment about taking charge of your own life. It speaks to a dark time of feeling lost and searching for answers, only to realize that the person you were waiting for was yourself all along.

Her journey from starting her career at 17 in Hungary to studying music in Milan and moving to Nashville gives her work a thoughtful, global flavor. Every choice here feels planned out, from the music right down to the single’s cover picture shot by Robby Klein. With her original visual ideas coming to life in a music video very soon, this release sets a strong path for where her art is moving next.

I really love this release because it’s open pop music with a real human voice that feels totally honest. It never sounds fake or forced, and the message about saving yourself comes across clearly and true without getting bogged down in messy details and it feels clean, sharp, and full of life from start to finish.
