SIR-VERE – “New Age Girl”

SIR-VERE and Vodzilla spent eighteen months collaborating on a project that eventually turned into their album THE GOD MACHINE. A key preview of that work comes with “New Age Girl”. Written by Craig White, with original production by Gary Morland, extra mixing by Vodzilla, and mastering by Doc Moody at R2D Funk MK Production House, the track blends alt-pop, electro, and electronic rock.

The track hits with serious energy right away. Big beat rhythms drive the song, giving the instrumental a heavy foundation. A guest female vocalist supplies airy, almost ghost-like vocals over top, creating a direct contrast against the aggressive beats, and the visual identity pulls heavily from Japanese manga, anime, and cyberpunk culture, which matches the futuristic tone of the audio.

The balance between the heavy electronic rock base and the lighter vocal work keeps the track engaging from start to finish. It sounds like a piece taken straight out of a high-energy anime soundtrack, but it holds up completely on its own.
