Kingfisha – “Highly Recommended”

Australian band Kingfisha is back with a new single named “Highly Recommended”. It has been ten whole years since they last released any music, but they sound just as good as ever. They have spent almost twenty years working on their sound, and this release shows how well they know what they are doing.

The track gives us a smooth mix of dub, reggae, and electronic music. It starts with a heavy bass line and a steady rhythm that makes you want to step back and forth right away. The smooth lead vocal comes in softly, sitting right above some catchy synth lines and dark drum beats. Everything feels light, easy, and very simple to listen to.
