Bangers12 – “Christian punk rock for the lost”

Bangers12 is a Brisbane punk rock artist who put out an album titled Christian Punk Rock for the Lost on May 20th, 2026. The project is rooted in a personal story, addiction, recovery, and finding faith, and the music doesn’t hide any of that. Christian Punk Rock for the Lost, is one of the best releases we’ve discovered this week.

It’s high-energy pop-punk with meaning. The kind of record you can blast loud but also actually sit with and think about every word, and this is what grabbed my attention in the first place. The lyrics go to some real places, which is pretty refreshing in a space that often plays it safe. My favorites are “I served the devil an eviction notice”, “Next stop! You!”, and “Awe in Awesome”.

The whole thing was made for people who feel like they’re on the outside. Anyone going through it, questioning things, or just not finding what they need elsewhere. It’s not a polished feel-good record. It’s more raw than that, and that’s kind of the point.
