Tidal End – “worth it!”

Tidal End is a Glasgow-based band made up of three friends who first played together during Cop26. After taking a year off, they’re back with a new single titled “worth it!” which was released on October 17, 2025.

They put this one together really quickly, it was written and arranged in just two sessions at their home studio, and they stuck with the original demo when recording it. That kind of no-fuss approach actually works, the result has a raw, chaotic energy. On the surface, the track is upbeat and fun, but if you listen to the lyrics, it’s clear they’re unpacking something a lot heavier.

The way they arranged the track adds to the mood. For example, the guitars pan from one side to the other, which creates this disoriented feeling that fits the headspace of someone second-guessing a relationship. The contrast between the bright sound and the sharp message makes the whole thing land in a clever way.
