WOOF – “LICK!”

I’m a big fan of WOOF’s new track “LICK!”, it’s the type of release that makes you stop for a moment and enjoy how a clean, punchy production can still feel as unhinged as it is in the best way. I love how tight everything sounds, but it still has that gritty edge. Somehow, the track is super polished and raw enough to blast it during a 2 AM drive through the city.

The thing that really hits is how “LICK!” gets all contrasty, smooth and gritty, chaos and control. The guitars have a life of their own, pulsing, mood swings from chill to full on storm. It’s obvious that this wasn’t just thrown together, it feels like the talented artist knew exactly what he was doing while still letting the wild energy take over. It’s safe to say I’m a new fan of artist and I can’t wait to hear his next release.
