The project – “Death of me”

Hey guys! As soon as I pressed play on The Project’s “Death of Me”, I was immediately struck by the quality of the production that really highlights James Davis’s evolution from his hard rock roots. When I finished listening to the track, I was excited to share it with you.
From the moment you start listening to this track, you will be able to hear how it is a perfect blend of pop and metal, which is quite innovative but still familiar. The producer Dennis Hill, who has worked with Face to Face and Lit, is especially noticeable in the polished production. The vocals by Jeff Plant are strong and the guitar work is complex, with those guest solos by Erik Ferentinos giving the song an added depth. The drumming is done by different artists, such as Arron Rossi of Ministry and it is quite good as it makes one bob their head.
What sets “Death of Me” apart is that it encapsulates the entire journey of Davis as a musician while venturing into new territory. The song is raw enough to appeal to the fans of the show Shameless but not too abrasive for those who are not familiar with the show.
This track shows that The Project is not just a side project but a musical project that I’m dying to see live when they tour the US, Japan, and UK in 2025, and you should follow them on all social media platforms to stay tuned for their new releases.
