Nathan Waller has some great vocals, David Cross is great on bass, and Alexis Randolph gives a great beat on the drums, the song is full of rockabilly sounds with an alt-country feel that makes it sound new and invigorating while also familiar. The brilliant production work by Bart Rose ensures every track sounds excellent and each strand is given room to breathe while the band’s passion, authentic energy, and it’s impossible not to get hooked by the storytelling and rich instrumentation.
