The Burton D’Agostini Procedure – “Float Over Here”
“Float Over Here” is a song from the creative minds of Jeff Burton and John D’Agostini, two musicians who love making great noise together. They have been writing songs side by side since their college years, and that long friendship shows clearly in every single note they play on this release. Their project brings a wonderful blend of old vintage sounds and modern alternative rock that is totally alive and fresh today. When you sit down with good audio gear, the music opens up in a massive stereo space that is genuinely immersive from the very first second. Every single guitar chord and vocal harmony floats around your room with total clarity, warmth, and incredible depth from start to finish.
The track pulls you right into a hazy daydream with its gorgeous melodies and relaxed pace that invites you to slow down and listen closely. The arrangement breathes naturally, giving every single instrument plenty of room to move without ever crowding the mix or losing its delicate balance, and Jeff handles the vocal delivery and mixing while John takes care of the engineering, and the two of them produce every second as a united team. You get genuine art crafted by two people who care deeply about vintage instruments, great songwriting, and rich studio detail every single day of the week. Underneath all the swirling guitar tones and analog layers lies an honest look at human life, turning personal experiences into soundscapes that hit you right in the chest without any cheap hooks or lazy shortcuts, and every melody is earned and every rhythm carries a quiet strength that stays with you long after the final chord fades away into silence.
If you love guitar music that blends old textures with modern punch, you need this track in your daily rotation right now and every single day after.
