Terry Breakman – “Boom Boom”

It is not very often you find a song written specifically for Independence Day, but Terry Breakman put out a track that fills that gap perfectly. It is a single titled “Boom Boom“, performed by the Breakman Holiday Singers, and it fits right into a summer celebration.

The whole thing plays out like the soundtrack to a backyard barbecue. It has a great mix of nostalgic Americana and contemporary production, making it feel instantly familiar. Ben Flanagan, Adam Yas, and Heidi Flanagan take the lead on vocals, and their performance brings a real sense of national pride and unity to the front. Terry is donating all of his artist proceeds from the track to Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit that builds custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.
