Sanga Toto – “My Emotion”

Sanga Toto’s latest single “My Emotion” is here, and it’s my favorite of the week. Sanga is based in Bordeaux and worked on this track with Tack Leone, a composer who clearly gets their style and the two of them created something that feels honest and grounded. You can hear their influences like Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, and The Weeknd, but the vibe is totally their own.

The track was built in pieces, with vocals recorded in Paris and the music coming together in Antibes. From what they’ve shared, the whole process flowed naturally and that really matches the energy of the song and it’s about love, but not in a dramatic way. More like a reminder to lead with it, feel it, and not overthink everything.

Even though this is a single, it’s also the starting point for a full album. That makes it more exciting because it feels like the beginning of something bigger. Releasing it between the holidays was a smart move too. It’s a song that makes you want to move around and not sit still.
