ninemansion – “My Favorite Stranger”
ninemansion’s new album My Favorite Stranger is out, and it’s really well done, and the Virginia artist taps into something personal here, reflecting on how love can slowly fade until the person you’re close to starts feeling unfamiliar. It’s not overly dramatic or heavy. It’s more about that quiet shift, the kind you don’t notice until it’s already happened.
The sound mixes modern hip-hop, melodic trap, and alternative rap. Nothing about it is overdone. The production and writing go hand in hand, and the tone stays consistent from start to finish. There’s a clear sense that he’s focused on telling the story without getting in the way of it. All tracks are incredible, but my favorite one is “Not True”.
If you’re new to ninemansion, My Favorite Stranger is a good place to start, and he’s got a unique perspective, and this project shows that he knows exactly what kind of music he wants to make. Definitely give the album a listen and follow ninemansion on social media to keep up with whatever he’s working on next.
