Mary Simone – “Scared To Be Lonley”

I’m in love with Mary Simone’s “Scared To Be Lonely”. When you listen to this track, you will hear how Mary brilliantly transforms what was once Pop/EDM territory into a hauntingly beautiful Americana landscape. The song is about the bitterness of a failed relationship and the lyrics are perfectly accompanied by the emotional and powerful voice.

The track was released in April 2025, recorded at New York’s Power Station studio, the same studio that was used by David Bowie for the “Let’s Dance” album, and the engineering was done by Gloria Kaba while the mixing was done by Ian Kagey. Stephen Webber, the producer of this song, should be commended for his efforts in transforming the Dua Lipa/Martin Garrix influence into something entirely new.

As she only has one more song left for her EP, I can’t wait to see what Mary Simone does next as her artistry only gets more interesting and you should follow her on all social media platforms so you can follow her journey for the rest of 2025.
