LIPFORD – “Just A Cry”

Lipford has shared with us his sixteenth single, “Just A Cry”, and it shows how much he’s continuing to grow since stepping out on his own after MantraM. The song comes across as very honest, built around the simple idea that sometimes you just need to let everything out. It isn’t about neat solutions or big statements. It’s about that moment of release that everyone can recognize when life gets heavy.
The track was recorded at Jungle Music Factory and later mixed and mastered by Matteo Marciano, a seasoned producer who has worked with names across film and music. That level of experience helps the song hit with clarity and strength while still keeping its emotional rawness intact. Another big part of the sound comes from the arrangement by The Rezonaut, an alternative metal band out of Rome. They add a sharp, powerful layer that takes the single beyond a typical pop rock cut. It keeps the emotional weight of the song front and center but also drives it forward with real force.
You can still hear Lipford’s roots in alternative rock here, mixed with the more melodic side of his solo work. It is a track that feels personal but still easy to connect with. Keep an eye on Lipford’s social pages if you want to see where he goes with the rest of his releases in 2025.
