Notorious Partners in Crime is one of those projects that can impress you. John Fishell teaming up with Deepak Ram sounds kind of out there at first, but once you listen, it makes total sense. The mashup of rock with Indian classical stuff and little jazz touches is actually super cool. You can hear how much fun they’re having together and the songs feel really alive. That reworked version of “Space Time” is especially cool, it takes you in all these unexpected directions.
