Intercontinen7al – “World Over”

I don’t even know where to start to describe how much I love Intercontinen7al’s EP, “World Over”. This release is like taking a journey around the world in music. That it is a collective that was constructed from the imagination of 21 artists from all the continents including the seventh continent, Antarctica, just boggles my mind. It’s like there is progressive rock, bossa nova, acoustic, and hard-hitting alternative all in one, but each song is like a postcard from a different country but they all fit together perfectly.
What strikes me most is the passion that has been put into this project, and the standout song “Night Shift” has a guitar line that was written in Antarctica. I can’t recall the last time I listened to music that not only sounds good but feels like an adventure, and this EP does that perfectly. If you are a fan of experimental music and new forms of cooperation, you should try it yourself. Check out Intercontinen7al on Instagram to learn more about their story and what’s next because this project shows that music is universal and I am here for it all.
