Ghost Righta – “Kaizen”

Ghost Righta, an independent artist out of Sydney, just dropped a new single, “Kaizen”, and it’s worth checking out. The name comes from a Japanese word for constant improvement, which makes sense once you know this was a totally solo project. When I checked the artist’s discovery, more tracks grabbed my attention like “Riviera” and “Allure’, make sure to check them out. Ghost Righta produced, composed, and mixed the entire thing on their own. It’s not just a song, it feels like a personal project built layer by layer with a lot of intention.

To be honest, I love how balanced the track is, it doesn’t lean too far into any one influence, but you can catch vibes similar to Tame Impala or ODESZA, that mix of dreamy electronic textures with organic pacing. It’s got rhythm, but it’s not in your face. It builds slowly, which kind of mirrors the idea behind it, small steps leading to something bigger. You can tell it came from a time of figuring things out, and that comes through in how the track shifts and grows.

It’s also cool that it was recorded entirely in a home studio, which adds a personal edge to the whole thing. If you’re into thoughtful electronic music that doesn’t feel over-polished, give “Kaizen” a spin. Follow Ghost Righta on socials to keep up with more releases through 2025.
