Today, I’m really enjoying the song “With His Eyes Closed” by Fabúla and I’m excited to share it with you. This song dives deep into that internal conflict we all face, the tension between staying in our comfort zone and craving something more exciting. The protagonist’s desire to escape the monotony of life while still desiring adventure is something that anyone can understand, and Fabula does this perfectly. The clean and professional production, co-produced with Birkir Rafn Gíslason, really captures the emotion and the song’s Icelandic background complements the French influences in the music video directed by Fabúla’s daughter Embla Wigum. It all comes together in this beautiful, complex piece.
