Andre Zimmer has done a great job with his EP “Wait a Minute”. This talented DJ and producer is from Toronto and this is his first release on CRYME’s newly formed label SEVEN. Andre’s work is a fascinating journey through the sub-genres of house music, with the use of the 90s references and fresh house beats that make you want to get on your feet. The title track is a powerhouse with 909 kicks and a bassline that can make any dance floor move. The Vitess remix gives a perfect deep minimalistic touch to the EP which only adds more charm to it. Songs such as “Ice Lolly” and “Round Two” have a clear reference to the ‘90s rave culture with UKG elements, breakbeats, and the classic rave organ.
