Eve Goodman x Sera – “Natur”

Eve Goodman and SERA have released their first full album together, “Natur”, and it’s clear they’ve put a lot into it. Both are singer-songwriters from North Wales with strong solo work behind them. Working together feels like a natural next step. The songs come from a place of curiosity and connection, to nature, to language, and to the land they grew up in.

The album covers a lot, one song is a playful take on a Menai Strait mermaid, and another was inspired by a moth. There’s a track that touches on burnout and modern life, and others that slow down and reflect on things like emotion, weather, and landscape. Even if you don’t speak Welsh, the feeling still comes through.

They recorded it at Wild End Studio near Llanrwst, which fits the tone. It sounds calm and personal. There’s nothing overdone. The songs feel like they’ve been made with care. Having Colin Bass co-produce helped shape the sound without smoothing out the personality.
