Eldars – “Oil In The Honey”

Oh god, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy this new release, “Oil In The Honey” by Eldars is an absolute masterpiece that melts into your soul and I’m sure it will stick in your head all week. Right from the first moment of the track, the chemistry of the band is evident in every harmony and every layer of sound that is added to the mix, like an epic sonic journey through time and space. The quintet hailing from Dublin combines elements of Pink Floyd’s sonic influences and The Smiths’ lyrical sharpness, is seamlessly stitched together in this track.
The production by Martin Quinn at Jam Studios is just impressive, capturing every guitar riff and vocal inflection with a nostalgic feel that is at the same time modern. It’s one of those songs that stays with you long after it ends, like honey lingering on your tongue. Check out Eldars on Instagram, you will be curious to know what they are going to do in 2025.
