Blind Man’s Daughter – “Grabbing Water”

Blind Man’s Daughter, the project from Denver singer and producer Ashley Wolfe, has a new single out titled “Grabbing Water”. It’s a dance-pop track that feels both fun and personal. The song came from a line Ashley woke up with one morning: “loving you is like grabbing water”. From there, the rest of it came together quickly, and you can hear that natural flow in the final version.

The track has a steady bass pulse and glossy synth layers that make it easy to picture on a late-night playlist, but what makes it click is Ashley’s voice. She has a huge range and moves between soft, intimate delivery and a big, soaring chorus. That shift gives the song a lot of life. It feels direct and personal, but it still works as a big pop single.

“Grabbing Water” also sets the stage for her upcoming album “Architect of Devotion”, which she describes as her most ambitious project so far. She has released more than 45 singles since 2021 across different styles, but this release shows her leaning more into a pop sound while keeping her own perspective. If you want to keep up with what she is doing next, follow Blind Man’s Daughter on social media. She has more music coming through the rest of 2025.
