Alexandra – “Let It Burn”

Hey! I spent some time this weekend listening to Alexandra’s new and beautiful EP “Let It Burn”, and I really adore it. She’s a talented and young artist from Dallas, and this five-song project gives off a very grounded, real-life kind of energy, also the EP’s artwork is wonderful.

The first track, “Funny”, opens with a bit of radio static that makes it feel like you’re easing into a real conversation, and it will stick in your head. Then it moves into more personal territory with songs like “Adrenaline” and “Lift The Veil”, where the rising artist Alexandra explores the tricky stuff, being honest, being seen, and figuring out how to show up as yourself. The title, “Let It Burn”, feels like a turning point, kind of like raising a glass to everything you’ve learned the hard way.

It’s a solid and unique debut with a lot of heart. I recommend checking out her other releases too if you’re curious about where she’s headed. And definitely follow Alexandra on social media to stay in the loop on what’s next in the rest of this year.
