I’m so excited to share with you Mary Strand’s latest release, titled “Take Your Time”. It feels like a bold new chapter for this rising star. It has that garage rock and power pop feel that is catchy from the first listen. The song has a catchy, swaggering tempo and the lyrics are as fun as the song’s sound, making it the happiest break-up song out there. With her tight band, Mary’s truly found her groove, and this track really highlights her growth as an artist. The lyrics are full of fun references ranging from Minneapolis to Bonnie and Clyde and it just adds such a fun layer to it.
