LUNA14 – “Zero Gravity”

“Zero Gravity” starts spinning and immediately pulls you right into a vast open expanse. This first single from LUNA14 captures a wonderful sensation of floating completely free without any heavy anchors holding you down. Founded recently in Berlin by Lunafacious and Gasher, the duo brings together diverse musical backgrounds. Lunafacious previously focused on ambient solo soundscapes while Gasher played guitar and violin in another band. Written and recorded inside a cozy living room, the track overflows with rich layers of guitars, violins, and live drums. Every single corner of the arrangement bursts with little details and ear candy that reward paying close attention upon repeated listens.

The vocals float above everything with a raw and honest energy. They are intentionally left unpolished, and that permitted imperfection gives the entire piece genuine human soul, and they built the sound using an old machine, piling up instruments one by one until the room was packed to the ceiling. Then came the editing stage, trimming excess noise and adding warm reverb to shape a distinct narrative arc. Lunafacious handled the melody and brought order to the tracks while Gasher played multiple parts as a complete band ensemble.

What happens halfway in the song is truly wild. A sudden tempo shift hits so hard that the second half acts like an entirely different piece of music crashing into the room. It is bold, unexpected, and completely unfiltered. The cover artwork matches this DIY spirit perfectly, featuring a digital satellite built by Gasher and photographed inside that exact same living room where everything started. Lunafacious sketched the idea and brought all the visual elements together smoothly.

LUNA14 approaches making art with pure joy and zero rigid rules. They do not care about sounding like generic commercial hits playing on the radio. They embrace the messy human experience of creating something real from scratch. That profound freedom echoes in every second of the audio, celebrating open bonds and love without any walls or limits.
