Laji George – “This is My World”

Laji George is a New York artist making a major pivot, stepping off huge festival stages like Summerfest with his band Pseutopia to build his own lane. He took that massive live energy, locked himself in the studio, and started tracking raw acoustic ideas on his phone before teaming up with producer Jonah Brockman, and working out of his home studio and Jonah Brockman Studios, they turned those early voice memos into a big alt-rock single titled “This Is My World”, which landed on July 2nd, 2026.

The track pulls from the songwriting approach of The Beatles and the textured solo work of Chris Cornell, giving it a balance of classic melody and heavy emotional grit, and it opens in an intimate acoustic space, slowly building into a sweeping rock anthem that mirrors the idea of finding your footing when everything around you feels chaotic. They recorded the song without digital over-correction to keep the human performance intact, pairing it with a music video filmed at The Rift Studios in Brooklyn.
