Nashville Exile – “Sing Our Song”

Nashville Exile has hit a fantastic stride with “Sing Our Song”. Founded by former UnAmerican lead singer Matthew Crozer alongside vocalist Cat Smithurst, the UK band brings together players Amu Dennett, Rick Kent, and Mark Smithurst to forge a genuine roots rock identity, and the group spent years playing live gigs and building original ideas, drawing creative inspiration from icons like Bob Dylan, John Prine, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Rolling Stones. Following their February 2026 debut single “Collide“, which gained solid streaming momentum, this song acts as another exciting preview for their debut album “Hand Drawn”.

The cover artwork for “Sing Our Song” sets the tone right away, and it features a close-up photo of a vintage studio microphone stamped with the Nashville Exile logo, that classic look fits the sound completely, and it’s safe to say that “Sing Our Song” is one of the best tracks I’ve covered this month so far.

The song brings together organic acoustic instrumentation, warm vocal harmonies between Crozer and Smithurst, and a relaxed groove. You can hear years of stage experience and tight musicianship working together. I love that the band relies on honest arrangements, strong melodies, and grounded storytelling. Everything flows smoothly and it will stick in your head all day long.
